Slab Science is a locally owned concrete leveling and crack repair company based in Taylors, SC. We fix sunken and cracked concrete across the Upstate, without tearing it out.
Fourteen years of lifting concrete
The company started more than 14 years ago as Level Best Concrete, built around a simple idea: most sunken concrete doesn’t need to be torn out. It needs the ground underneath fixed and the slab lifted back where it belongs. The business became Slab Science, and along the way it developed its own patent-pending lift system, PRO LIFT, to lift slabs more accurately with less material.
Today Slab Science is owned and run by Caleb Childers. Caleb does many of the estimates himself, and our crews do the lifting, leveling and crack repair. You’ll see their names all through our reviews.
